Solution:

  1. (c) We have $c \propto \sqrt{T}$

$\therefore \frac{c_1}{c_2}=\sqrt{\frac{T_1}{T_2}}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{c_1}{2 c_2}=\sqrt{\frac{(27+273) k}{T_2}}$

$\Rightarrow T_2=1200 k=927^{\circ} C$
