  1. $\mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{COOH}+\mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{COONa}=$ Buffer solution

$\mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{COONa}+\mathrm{HCl} \longrightarrow \mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{COOH}+\mathrm{NaCl}$

If $\mathrm{HCl}$ is taken in limited quantity, final solution will have both $\mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{COOH}$ and $\mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{COONa}$ needed for buffer solution.

Ammonia and ammonium chloride forms basic buffer.
