$$ \begin{aligned} p V & =n R T=\frac{w}{M} R T \ \Rightarrow \quad p M & =\frac{w}{V} R T=d R T \text { where, ’ } d \text { ’ is density. } \ \Rightarrow \quad d & =\frac{p M}{R T}=\frac{5 \times 17}{0.082 \times 303}=3.42 g L^{-1} . \end{aligned} $$
