(4) 265

(5) 280

Show Answer

Answer: (1)

Solution: (1)

Total earning $=123000 \times 2$ $=$ Rs. 246000

Earning from sales of Raggi $=246000 \times \frac{25}{41}=$ Rs. 150000

Earning from sales of Cotton $=$ $246000 \times \frac{16}{41}=$ Rs. 96000

Area of land -C$=\frac{150000}{150}$ $=1000$ sq. metre

Area of land -D $=\frac{96000}{120}$ $=800$ sq. metre

Required difference $=1000-800$ $=200$ sq. metre
