Solution:

As the time taken from D to A = 2 sec.

And D →A→B→C=10 sec(given). As ball goes from B→C(u=0, t=4sec)

vc=0+4g.

As it moves from C to D, s=ut+12at2

s=4g×2+12g×4=10g.
