Faraday’s Law of Induction:
- The emf induced in a coil is directly proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux.
- The emf induced in a coil is also proportional to the number of turns in the coil.
- The emf induced in a coil is proportional to the area of the coil.
Self Inductance:
- The self inductance of a coil is directly proportional to the square of the number of turns in the coil.
- The self-inductance of a solenoid is directly proportional to the square of the number of turns per unit length.
Induced EMF in a Moving Conductor:
- The emf induced in a conductor moving in a magnetic field is directly proportional to the strength of the magnetic field.
- The emf induced in a conductor moving in a magnetic field is directly proportional to the velocity of the conductor.
- The emf induced in a conductor moving in a magnetic field is perpendicular to both the magnetic field and the velocity of the conductor.
