Solution:

(d) The focal length of the combination

$\frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{f_{1}} + \frac{1}{f_{2}}$

$∴$ Power of the combinations,

$P = \frac{f_{1} + f_{2}}{f_{1} f_{2}} (∵ P = \frac{1}{f})$
