Solution:

$R_{A B} = \frac{1.2 π}{2} = 0.6 π Ω$

$R / 2$

$R_{e q} = \frac{R_{1} R_{2}}{R_{1} + R_{2}} = \frac{(\frac{R}{2} \cdot \frac{R}{2})}{\frac{R}{2} + \frac{R}{2}} ∴ R_{e q} = \frac{R}{4}$

If a wire of resistance $R$ is bent in the form of circle, the effective resistance between the ends of diameter is $R / 4$
