  1. (d) Standard Gibbs free energy is given as $\Delta G^{\circ}=-n E^{\circ} F$

If $E^{\circ} _{\text{cell }}<0$ i.e. $-v e$

$\Delta G^{\circ}>0$

Further $\Delta G^{\circ}=-R T \ln K _{e q}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}>0$ when $K _{e q}<1$
