In the given circuit, the current in resistance $R _3$ is :
(1) $1 A$
(2) $1.5 A$
(3) $2 A$
(4) $2.5 A$

Solution:
$R _{eq}=2 \Omega+2 \Omega+1 \Omega=5 \Omega$
$i=\frac{V}{R _{eq}}=\frac{10}{5}=2 A$
Current in resistance
$$ \begin{aligned} R _3 & =2 \times\left(\frac{4}{4+4}\right) \\ & =2 \times \frac{4}{8} \\ & =1 A \end{aligned} $$
