Electrochemistry Question 13
Question 13 - 2024 (31 Jan Shift 2)
The values of conductivity of some materials at $298.15 K in \text{~Sm}^{-1}$ are $2.1 \times 10^{3}$,
$1.0 \times 10^{-16}, 1.2 \times 10,3.91,1.5 \times 10^{-2}$,
$1 \times 10^{-7}, 1.0 \times 10^{3}$. The number of conductors among the materials is _________.
Show Answer
Answer (4)
Solution
Conductivity $\left(Sm^{-1}\right)$
$ \begin{aligned} & {\begin{array}{l} 2.1 \times 10^{3} \\ 1.2 \times 10 \\ 3.91 \\ 1 \times 10^{3} \end{array} .} \text { at } 298.15 K \\ & \quad 1 \times 10^{-16} \text { Insulator at } 298.15 K \\ & {.\begin{array}{l} 1.5 \times 10^{-2} \\ 1 \times 10^{-7} \end{array} .} \text { Semiconductor at } 298.15 K \end{aligned} $
Therefore number of conductors is 4 .
