Solution:

  1. The continuous $X$-ray spectrum is shown in figure.

All wavelengths $>\lambda _{\min }$ are found, where

$$ \lambda _{\min }=\frac{12375}{V(\text { in volt })} \AA $$

Here, $V$ is the applied voltage.
