Show Answer

Solution:

  1. Maximum energy of photoelectrons increases with increase in frequency of incident light. So, if intensity is increased by increasing frequency of incident light, maximum energy will increase. If intensity is increased merely by increasing number of photons incident per second, maximum energy of photoelectrons will not change. So, question is incomplete because it is not mentioned whether how the intensity is increased?
