Solution:

  1. (a) Magnetic flux, $\varphi=B s=\frac{F}{q v}(s) \quad[\because F=B q v]$

$$ \therefore \quad[\varphi]=\frac{\mathrm{Fs}}{\mathrm{qv}}=\frac{\mathrm{MLT}^{-2} \mathrm{~L}^{2}}{\mathrm{QLT}^{-1}}=\left[\mathrm{ML}^{2} \mathrm{~T}^{-1} \mathrm{Q}^{-1}\right] $$

(b) $[$ Rigidity Modulus $]=\frac{\mathrm{F}}{\mathrm{A}}=\frac{\mathrm{MLT}^{-2}}{\mathrm{~L}^{2}}$

$$ =\left[\mathrm{ML}^{-1} \mathrm{~T}^{-2}\right] $$
