Solution:
- Current in the circuit,
$$ i=\frac{8 \times 5}{8 \times 0.2}=25 A $$
(counter clockwise)
Therefore, PD across the terminals of the battery
$$ V=E-i r=5-(25)(0.2)=0 $$
