Current Electricity 1 Question 20

20. The equivalent resistance between points $A$ and $B$ of the circuit given below is

$(1997,2 M)$

True/False

Show Answer

Solution:

  1. All the three resistances are in parallel.

Therefore, $\frac{1}{R _{eq}}=\frac{1}{2 R}+\frac{1}{2 R}+\frac{1}{R}=\frac{2}{R}$

$$ \therefore \quad R _{eq}=\frac{R}{2} $$
