Solution:

Liquid will apply an upthrust on $m$ . An equal force will be exerted (from Newton’s third law) on the liquid. Hence, $A$ will read less than $2 k g$ and $B$ more than $5 k g$ . Therefore, the correct options are (b) and (c).
