Solution:

At point $Q$ angle of incidence is critical angle $θ_{C}$ , where

$\sin θ_{C} = \frac{μ_{l}}{μ_{block}}$

In $△ P Q S, \sin θ_{C} = \frac{r}{\sqrt{r^{2} + h^{2}}}$

$∴ \frac{μ_{l}}{μ_{block}} = \frac{r}{\sqrt{r^{2} + h^{2}}}$

$\Rightarrow μ_{l} = \frac{r}{\sqrt{r^{2} + h^{2}}} \times 2.72$

$= \frac{5.77}{11.54} \times 2.72 = 1.36$
