(a) $\alpha, \beta, \gamma$

(b) $\alpha, \gamma, \beta$

(c) $\beta, \gamma, \alpha$

(d) $\gamma, \beta, \alpha$

Solution:

  1. Penetrating power is maximum for $\gamma$-rays, then of $\beta$-particles and then $\alpha$-particles because basically it depends on the velocity. However, ionization power is in reverse order.
