- Given planes are
$2 x+y+2 z-8=0$ and $2 x+y+2 z+\frac{5}{2}=0$
$\therefore$ Distance between two planes
$ =\frac{\left|c _1-c _2\right|}{\sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}+c^{2}}}=\left|\frac{-8-\frac{5}{2}}{\sqrt{2^{2}+1^{2}+2^{2}}}\right|=\frac{21 / 2}{3}=\frac{7}{2} $
