  1. $\frac{n _{O _2}}{n _{N _2}}=\frac{\frac{\left(m _{O _2}\right)}{\left(M _{O _2}\right)}}{\frac{\left(m _{N _2}\right)}{\left(M _{N _2}\right)}}$

$=0.9 \times 60 mg=54 mg$

where, $m _{O _2}$ = given mass of $O _2, m _{N _2}=$ given mass of $N _2$, $M _{O _2}=$ molecular mass of $O _2, M _{N _2}=$ molecular mass of $N _2$, $n _{O _2}=$ number of moles of $O _2, n _{N _2}=$ number of moles of $N _2$

$$ =\left[\frac{m _{O _2}}{m _{N _2}}\right] \frac{28}{32}=\frac{1}{4} \times \frac{28}{32}=\frac{7}{32} $$
