Solution:

$P_{4} O_{10}$ is a dehydrating agent and converts $H N O_{3}$ into $N_{2} O_{5}$

$\begin{aligned} 2 H N O_{3} & ⟶ N_{2} O_{5} + H_{2} O P_{4} O_{10} + 6 H_{2} O & ⟶ 4 H_{3} P O_{4} \end{aligned}$

(a) $P_{4} + 20 H N O_{3} ⟶ 4 H_{3} P O_{4} + 20 N O_{2} + 4 H_{2} O$

Thus, (a) is incorrect. (b) $N_{2} O_{5}$ has no unpaired electron and is thus, diamagnetic thus, (b) is correct.

(c)

There is no $N - N$ bond, thus, (c) is incorrect.

(d) $N_{2} O_{5} + N a ⟶ N a N O_{3} + N O_{2}$ $N_{2} O_{5}$ vapours are of brownish colour. Thus, (d) is correct.
