Solution:

Ans. In a steady state (when capacitor is fully charged no current flows through branch CEF and the given circuit reduced to

$$ \Rightarrow \quad R_{e q(A D)}=2 \Omega $$

Total resistance, $R_{A F}=2+3=5 \Omega$

Hence

$$ I=\frac{15}{5} \mathrm{~A}=3 \mathrm{~A} $$

Current through, $C D, I_{1}=\frac{3}{9} \times I=1 \mathrm{~A}$
