Solution:

The given circuit can be redrawn as follows

$(V_{A} - V_{B}) = (\frac{15}{5 + 15}) \times 2000$

therefore $V_{A} - V_{B} = 1500 V$

therefore $2000 - V_{B} = 1500 V$

therefore $V_{B} = 500 V$
