Solution:

For $N H_{4} O H$ . $[O H^{-}] = C, ., α$ ; $C = \frac{1}{10} M$ , $α = 0.2$

$[O H^{-}] = \frac{1}{10} \times 0.2 = 2 \times 10^{- 2}, M$

$p O H = - \log [O H^{-}]$

$= \log [2 \times 10^{- 2}]$ ; $p O H = 1.7$

$p H = 14 - p O H$

$= 14 - 1.7 = 12.30$ .
