In July 2024, the Indian smartphone market is set to see the release of around 20 new smartphones. These new models will range from budget-friendly to high-end devices, catering to a diverse group of customers. Brands like Lava, IQ, Motorola, CMF, Redmi, Samsung, Oppo, and OnePlus are all gearing up to launch their latest models.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the smartphones launching in July:
- iQOO Z9 Lite: Expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and 6GB RAM, with a price tag of around Rs 10,499.
- Motorola Moto Razr 50 Ultra: This phone will come with the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset and is expected to be priced at Rs 75,000. It is set to launch on July 4.
- CMF Phone 1 by Nothing’s sub-brand CMF: Running on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, this phone is expected to cost around Rs 17,000 and will launch on July 8.
- Redmi 13 5G: Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and supporting 33W fast charging, this phone is likely to be priced at Rs 12,999 and will launch on July 9.
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: A flagship smartphone expected to launch on July 10, with an anticipated price of Rs 1,25,000.
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Also launching in July, this phone will feature a Snapdragon 8 chipset and 12GB RAM.
Other expected launches include the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro on July 12, priced at Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively.
Additionally, we can expect to see the OnePlus 12T, OnePlus Nord 4, Realme 13 Pro + 5G, Realme 13 Pro 5G, Moto G85 5G, Honor 200, Honor 200 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M35 5G, Vivo V40, Vivo V40e, and Vivo V40 Pro hitting the market in July.
In other news, Truecaller, a caller ID and instant messaging platform, has launched a special service to help people fight cyber fraud. This service, available on both Android and iOS devices, offers fraud insurance in partnership with HDFC Ergo. Currently, this service is only available to users in India.
