Apple Vision Pro: Apple Launches Vision Pro in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore
New Delhi: On Friday, Apple introduced its virtual reality (VR) headset, Vision Pro, to the markets in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. This is the first time the device is officially available outside the United States. According to Apple, the Vision Pro is now available in Apple Store locations across mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
Apple described the Vision Pro as a device that seamlessly integrates digital content with the physical world, offering powerful spatial experiences. These experiences are designed to transform how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, enjoy entertainment, and much more.
Apple team members celebrated the launch with the first customers in these countries and regions, offering them a guided demo experience available exclusively at Apple Retail stores.
The Vision Pro is also scheduled to launch in Germany, France, Australia, the UK, and Canada on July 12.
The Vision Pro operates on visionOS. Earlier this month, during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple announced visionOS 2, the first major update to the Vision Pro’s operating system. VisionOS 2 includes several new features and changes, such as a redesigned Photos app with SharePlay support, the ability to turn existing 2D photos into spatial photos, and a larger ultra-wide version of Mac Virtual Display that is equivalent to two 4K monitors side by side, among other updates.
