Recent Heartbreak No Worry for Dravid as India Aims for T20 World Cup Final

Rahul Dravid is confident that India’s recent setbacks won’t affect their performance in the upcoming T20 World Cup final against South Africa in Barbados on Saturday. India, who won the first T20 World Cup in 2007, are looking to secure their second title.

Dravid emphasized that players don’t dwell on past losses and approach each game with a fresh mindset. “I don’t think players carry the weight of past events. Every day is a new opportunity,” he said.

He added that players are skilled at moving past previous experiences and focusing on the present. “Just as we will move on from what happened in Ahmedabad, I’m sure they won’t be thinking about history. It will be a new day for everyone.”

Dravid acknowledged that both India and South Africa have been the standout teams in the tournament. “Both teams have played the best cricket in this tournament, and it’s a deserving final for both. Hopefully, it will be a great game of cricket, and we come out on top,” he concluded.
