NEET (UG) Cheating Case: CBI Conducts Searches in Gujarat
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is carrying out searches at various locations in Godhra, Ahmedabad, Kheda, and Anand districts of Gujarat in connection with the NEET (UG) cheating case.
In addition, the CBI has arrested Jamaluddin, a journalist with a Hindi daily, in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. He is accused of helping the principal and vice-principal of Oasis School in Bihar with the alleged paper leak, according to CBI sources.
Earlier, on June 14, the Gujarat Police had arrested five individuals, including the head of a coaching center, for their involvement in cheating during the medical entrance exam at a center in Godhra. The alleged scam involves about a dozen students, their parents, and a coaching center in Vadodara run by a group of teachers.
