(i) attractive and (ii) repulsive.

In the nuclear reaction

determine the values of a and b.

For r>r0, the force is attractive

For r<r0, the force is repulsive

(b) We have,

1+235=a+94+2×1 a=23696=140  Also 0+92=54+b+2×0 b=9254=38
