Detailed Answer :
If charge ’ $q$ ’ is placed in centre of cube, electric flux
through the surface of cube will be $6 \phi$, where $\phi$ is flux through each face. As per Gauss’s law,
$$ \begin{align*} 6 \phi & =\frac{q}{\varepsilon_{0}} \ \phi & =\frac{q}{6 \varepsilon_{0}} \tag{1} \end{align*} $$
