What is the difference between total number of Associate Professors in universities $L$ and $M$ together and the total number of Professors in the same universities together?

Solution: (2)

Number of professors in university $L=\frac{160 \times 40}{100}-34$ $=64-34=30$

Number of professors in university $M=\frac{180 \times 45}{100}-61$ $=81-61=20$

$\therefore$ Required difference $=(34+61)-(30+20)$ $=95-50=45$
