Percentage of bags available in different stores in July :

Total number of bags available in all stores together is 600

The respective ratio between number of bags available in store P in August and that available in the same store in July was 5:4. How many more bags were available in store P in August as compared to that in July?

(2) 90

(3) 24

(4) 60

(5) 30

Solution: (5)

Number of available bags in store P in August =54×(20% of 600) =54×120=150

Required difference =150−120=30
