Solution: (2)

Total number of students in stream C in universities St. Christ and P.D. $=1200+1600$ $=2800$

Total number of students in stream $B$ in these universities $=1800+1400=3200$

Required percent $=\left(\frac{3200-2800}{3200}\right) \times 100$ $=\frac{400}{32}=12.5 \%$
