By what per cent is the number of female students studying in Chennai and Pune together less than that of male students in the same cities?

Solution: (1)

In cities Chennai and Pune.

Male students ⇒11200+10560 =21760

Female students ⇒8000+4800=12800

∴ Required per cent =(21760−1280021760)×100 =896002176≈41%
