The respective ratio between the number of mobile phones sold of company $A$ and company $B$ during six months

The number of mobile phones sold of company A during July is approximately what per cent of the number of mobile phones sold of company A during December?

Mobile phones sold by company A :

July

$\Rightarrow 45000 \times \frac{17}{100} \times \frac{8}{15}$ $= 4080$

December

$\Rightarrow 45000 \times \frac{16}{100} \times \frac{7}{16}$ $= 3150$

Required percentage $= \frac{4080}{3150} \times 100 \approx 130 %$
