XAT Selection Procedure 2024:
XLRI, Jamshedpur will conduct the selection process for XAT 2024 after the announcement of the XAT result on January 20. The response sheet for XAT 2024 has been released by XLRI Jamshedpur on January 11. Each participating institute in XAT has its own selection procedure, and there is no centralized process. Students who qualify for the final merit list based on their XAT exam scores will be called for XAT counseling. Candidates must register on the official website of the colleges they wish to apply to for the XAT 2024 selection process.
XAT Selection Procedure 2024
Candidates who are shortlisted will have to participate in the XLRI selection criteria, which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in all stages of the XAT selection process 2024. Candidates can check the shortlist by using their login credentials on the XAT 2024 official website, xatonline.in. To be considered for XAT 2024, candidates need to appear for the exam. They will then go through a shortlisting process and selection rounds before the final selection.
Phase 1 - Candidates have to appear for XAT 2024
In Phase 1, candidates have to appear for XAT 2024. They need to fill up the application form on the official website of XLRI. The registration form was available online from July 15 to December 10, 2023.
Phase 2 - Shortlisting of Candidates
- XAT 2024 results have been announced on January 20. XLRI will list students for group discussion and interviews. Students will be selected based on the XAT cutoff published by the participating institutes.
Phase 3 - XAT Selection Rounds
- Students who are shortlisted will be called for the further XLRI call criteria which will consist of the following rounds.
- Group Discussion (GD) or/and Essay writing
- Personal Interview (PI)
Phase 4 - Final Selection
- After conducting the XLRI Jamshedpur selection criteria, the final list of selected students will be prepared. Selected candidates will be offered admission to the XAT participating institutes in offered programs.

Documents Required for XAT Selection Process 2024
- Original XAT counselling letter along with a photocopy of the counselling letter
- Original and Xerox of XAT Admit Card 2024.
- Bank draft as per the guidelines mentioned in the XAT Brochure
- Academic Certificates (class 10 & class 12; Bachelor’s Degree)
- XAT 2024 Score Card/ Rank Card
- Caste Certificate
- Medical documents
- 4-6 Passport size photographs in colour and black and white
XAT Cutoff 2024 for XLRI
XLRI will release the XAT 2024 cutoff on its official website, xlri.ac.in. Students are shortlisted based on the cutoff released by the XAT participating institutes. Students can check the table below for the expected XAT 2024 cutoff concerning the last year XAT cut off.
