IPMAT Selection Procedure 2024 - The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore will conduct the selection process for IPMAT 2024 in the third week of July. The selection process consists of two stages: the first stage involves shortlisting candidates for a Personal Interview (PI) based on their IPMAT exam scores, and the second stage involves preparing the final merit list. The final merit list for admission to the Integrated MBA program will be based on the candidate’s scores in the Aptitude Test and their performance in the Personal Interview (PI).
IPMAT Selection Procedure 2024
A sufficient number of candidates will be selected from the eligible pool of candidates. Candidates who do not appear for either the written test of IPMAT or the PI will not be considered eligible for the selection process. IIM Indore will release a provisional shortlist of candidates for Personal Interviews based on the IPMAT test. Candidates can check their IPMAT results on the IIM Indore website.

Phases of IPMAT 2024 Selection Procedure
To get admission to the Indian Institute of Management, five-year Integrated Management Program, candidates have to go through five selection phases of the IPMAT exam. IPMAT 2024 is a five-year program in which candidates will receive a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and a Masters of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Program) by IIM Indore.
Indian Institute of Management, Indore will not allow admission to candidates only on the basis of clearing the IPMAT 2024 entrance. According to the IPMAT selection procedure, all candidates must qualify in all rounds to be invited to the five-year integrated program from IIM Indore.
Details involved in IPMAT 2024 selection process phases
Phase 1 - IPMAT Registration
Only eligible students are permitted to appear for the Aptitude Test (AT). The application fee is Rs. 4130 to be paid by General Category Candidates (Fee for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates is Rs. 2065).
NOTE: There will be no change in the category of candidates once the IPMAT 2024 application form is submitted.
Phase 2 - IPMAT 2024 Exam Based on the applications, IIM Indore is inviting eligible candidates to appear for IPMAT 2024, which is an Aptitude Test. To get detailed information about the type of questions asked, total sections, marking scheme, exam duration, etc.

Each question carries 4 marks and there is a penalty of 1 mark for each wrong answer, except for Quantitative Ability (SA).
Phase 3 - Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates who qualify for the Aptitude Test round will be invited for a personal interview. The interview is conducted by an admissions committee and assesses the candidates’ confidence, general awareness, communication skills, motivational skills, and knowledge.
Phase 4 - Merit List Generation
Candidates who are shortlisted must participate in the video assessment round. They are required to upload a self-recorded video within a specified period after the results are announced. The candidates will be given a set of questions to answer in the video. Failure to upload the video will result in disqualification from further rounds. An eligibility list will be created based on the Aptitude Test score.
Phase 5 - Final List
IIM Indore will publish the final merit list for IPMAT based on categories. The candidate’s position in the merit list will be determined by their composite score, as mentioned below. Unselected candidates will not be notified.
