GATE Counselling 2024 - Check Schedule, Procedure, Registration Dates

GATE 2024 Counselling:

Candidates who successfully pass the GATE exam will be eligible to participate in the GATE counselling process for the year 2024. The counselling process is conducted through two platforms, namely the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and the Centralised Counselling for M.Tech/M.Des (CCMT).

For admission into IITs, candidates are required to register for COAP. On the other hand, for admission into NITs and IIITs, the CCMT counselling will be conducted. It is important to note that there is no centralised counselling for the GATE exam itself. State and private universities conduct their own counselling based on the GATE result.

To participate in the GATE 2024 counselling, candidates must separately apply for COAP and CCMT. It is essential for students to qualify in GATE 2024 in order to be eligible for the M.Tech counselling. For more information about IIT GATE counselling 2024, please read the entire article.
