IIT Madras Online BSc Programme Structure
The IIT Madras Online BSc Programme is structured into four sequential levels:

Foundation Level (32 credits) - This level includes courses in English, Statistics, Mathematics, Basics of Programming, and Python. After completing this level, students can choose to leave the program with a Foundational Certificate or continue to the Diploma level.

Diploma Level (Programming: 27 credits + Data Science: 27 credits) - This level is divided into two sections: Programming and Data Science, each consisting of 5 courses, two projects, and one skill enhancement course. Upon completion, students can choose to leave with a Diploma in Programming or Data Science or both, or continue to the BSc degree level.

BSc Degree Level (28 credits) - To be eligible for this level, students must have completed the 8 courses at the Foundation level and the 12 courses and 4 projects at the Diploma level. After successfully completing this level, students can choose to leave with a BSc degree in Programming & Data Science or continue to the BS degree level.

BS Degree Level (28 credits) - To enter this level, students must have earned 114 credits and completed the BSc degree level. Upon completion, students will receive a BS Degree in Data Science and Applications from IIT Madras.
