Solution:

Let m is the amount of steam that passes off the radiator.

Heat released due to condensation of steam, $H_{1} = m L_{v} = 540 m c a l$

Heat released due to cooling of water,

$H_{2} = m s Δ θ = m \times 1 \times 20 = 20 m c a l$

Required percentage

$= \frac{H_{2}}{H_{1} + H_{2}} \times 100 = \frac{20 m}{560 m} \times 100 = 3.6$
