Solution:

Net downward force $m g^{'} = m g + Q E$

therefore Effect acceleration $g^{'} = (g + \frac{Q E}{m})$

Hence time period $T = 2 π \sqrt{\frac{l}{g^{'}}} = 2 π \sqrt{\frac{l}{(g + \frac{Q E}{m})}}$
