Solution:

The slope of anode characteristic curve $= \frac{1}{r_{p}}$
$\Rightarrow r_{p} = \frac{1}{0.02 m A / V} = 50 \frac{V}{m A} = 50 \times 10^{3} \frac{V}{A}$

The slope of mutual characteristic curve = gm = 1 x 10 $^{3}$ A/V.

$∴ μ = r_{p} \times g_{m} = 50 \times 10^{3} \times 10^{- 3} = 50$ .
