Dharmendra Pradhan to launch interactive learning, assessment platform SATHEE today

As per the UGC chairman, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the learning material would be made available by both IIT Kanpur and IISc.

NEW DELHI: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be launching the Self Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams (SATHEE) platform today, March 6, 2023. The learning platform is for candidates to prepare for competitive exams like NEET, JEE and others. SATHEE is scheduled to be launched at 10.45 am.

Earlier, the University Grants Commission (UGC), chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar announced the launch of the learning platform on his Twitter handle. As per the UGC chairman, SATHEE will bridge the gap for the students in society who can’t afford the costly entrance exam guidance and coaching. The candidates can learn the concepts and focus on their weak topics for the exams by watching videos.

This platform is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Kanpur.

The websites feature subject-specific faculty and advice on how to ace the entrance test. Through a Google form that is available on the relevant websites, students can choose the subject they want to study and get their questions answered as well. To prepare for competitive examinations, there will be study material available in English, Hindi, and other regional languages of India.
