Solution:
$\mathrm{R}_{\mathrm{eq}}=\frac{4}{3} \Omega$
$\therefore \mathrm{P}=\frac{\mathrm{V}^{2}}{\mathrm{R}_{\mathrm{eq}}}=\frac{4}{4 / 3}=3 \mathrm{~W}$
