$\mathrm{Pt}^{2+}\left(\mathrm{d}^{8}\right)$

$\mathrm{Pt}^{2+} \rightarrow \mathrm{dsp}^{2}$ hybridization and have no unpaired $\mathrm{e}^{-} \mathrm{s}$.

$\therefore$ Magnetic moment $=0$
