JEE Main Solved Paper 2017 Question 11
Question: In a common emitter amplifier circuit using an n-p-n transistor, the phase difference between the input and the output voltages will be: JEE Main Solved Paper-2017
Options:
A) $ 135^{o} $
B) $ 180^{o} $
C) $ 45^{o} $
D) $ 90^{o} $
Show Answer
Answer:
Correct Answer: B
Solution:
- In common emitter amplifier circuit input and output voltage are out of phase. When input voltage is increased then $ i _{b} $ is increased, $ i _{c} $ also increases so voltage drop across $ R _{c} $ is increased. However increase in voltage across $ R _{C} $ is in opposite sense.
