JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam Day Guidelines: What You Need to Know
As the Joint Entrance Main Exam (JEE Main) 2024 Session 2 is set to commence tomorrow, April 4, and continue till April 12, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for candidates scheduled to take the exam on April 4, 5, and 6. The admit cards can be accessed on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, by entering the registration number and date of birth. From there, candidates can easily download their admit cards.
The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam will be conducted in two shifts daily, with the first shift running from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 3 PM. To ensure a smooth and successful examination experience, candidates are required to follow the exam day guidelines outlined below:
Arrival at the Exam Center
- Make sure to reach the test center at least 30 minutes before the time mentioned in your admit card. Latecomers will not be allowed to take the exam.
Essential Documents
- Carry your admit card, a recent photo, and a valid government-issued photo ID to the exam center.
Prohibited Items
- Do not bring phones, study materials, or any unauthorized items to the exam center.
- Diabetic students are allowed to bring sugar tablets, fruits, and clear water bottles, but packed foods like chocolates or sandwiches are strictly prohibited.
Dress Code
- Avoid wearing clothes with metal parts like buttons or zippers to make security checks easier.
- Caps, mufflers, and hats are not allowed during the exam.
- Refrain from wearing jewelry like rings, bracelets, or necklaces.
- Do not bring items like sunglasses that could disrupt the exam.
