IIT JEE Advanced 2024: Registration Postponed to April 27, Exam Scheduled for May 26
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced a change in the schedule for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2024. The online application process, which was initially set to begin on April 1 and conclude on April 30, has been postponed to April 27 and will now end on May 7, 2024. Candidates can register themselves on the official portal at jeeadv.ac.in during this period.
The JEE Advanced 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 26, with Paper 1 commencing at 9:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM, followed by Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates are required to pay their exam fees by May 10 at 5:00 PM, and admit cards will be available for download from May 17 at 10:00 AM to May 26 at 2:30 PM.
Candidates who require a scribe due to a disability or difficulty in writing can choose their scribe on Saturday, May 25, 2024. The JEE Advanced 2024 examination schedule remains unaffected by the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
After the examination, candidate responses will be available on the exam portal on May 31, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The provisional answer keys will be released on June 2, 2024, and candidates can provide feedback and comments on the same until June 3, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The final answer key and results of JEE Advanced 2024 will be declared on June 9, 2024.
Following the declaration of results, online registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 will begin on June 9, 2024, and continue until June 10, 2024. The AAT 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The results of AAT 2024 will be declared on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The tentative start of the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2024 process is set for Monday, June 10, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
