CLAT 2025 Registration Begins: Eligibility Criteria and Direct Link Inside

The Consortium of National Law Universities has officially launched the online application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025, commencing from July 15, 2024. Aspiring law students can now register for the entrance examination through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The online application process for CLAT 2025 will remain open until October 15, 2024, with the examination scheduled to take place on December 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2025

The eligibility criteria for CLAT 2025 are as follows:

Undergraduate Programme (5-Year Integrated Law Degree)

Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks or its equivalent grade are eligible to apply. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories need to secure a minimum of 40% marks or its equivalent grade. Additionally, candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.

Postgraduate Programme (1 Year LLM Degree)

To apply for the postgraduate programme, candidates must have an LLB degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum marks required is 45%. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2025 are also eligible to apply.

Step 5: Review the form thoroughly before submitting.

Step 6: Pay the application fee online, which is Rs. 4,000 for general candidates and Rs. 3,500 for SC, ST, and BPL category candidates.
